Fl. 104mm wide; perianth segments 39mm long, very broadly ovate, truncate, deep yellow, with pale mucro, spreading, plane or with margins incurling, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, blunt, scarcely mucronate; corona 28mm long, bowl-shaped, smooth, intense orange-red, mouth expanded, lightly frilled and irregularly lobed, with lobes overlapping in places, rim minutely crenate.

Named in honor of  the daughter of long standing Alpine Garden Society Dublin Group member Billy Moore. Brian Duncan brought the entire stock of this seedling for a fund raiser at the group’s annual weekend series. Billy bought and registered the stock, giving it the name of his daughter Deidre.
